How do I cite drug monographs, images, and patient education materials in ClinicalKey?

The citation for drug monographs, images, and patient education materials should include the copyright holder, the title of the material, the type of material it is, a reference to ClinicalKey with the appropriate URL, and the date it was viewed.
 

How do I cite First Consult content in ClinicalKey?

The citation for material original to First Consult should include the title of the material, the type of article it is, a reference to ClinicalKey with the appropriate URL, and the date it was posted and viewed.

For example:

Cite the UpToDate® topic as a chapter in a book titled UpToDate, edited by Denise S. Basow, published by UpToDate in Waltham, MA. There are no page numbers to cite, and the publication year for any topic should be the current year.

VisualDx

Cite the VisualDx topic as a chapter in an electronic book titled VisualDx with editor Lowell A. Goldsmith. There are no page numbers and publication year should be the current year.

Standard Citation for a Database

Standard database pattern:

Author AA, Author BB. Title of entry [type of entry, if applicable]. In: Editor AA, Editor BB, eds (if available). Title of Database. City, State Abbreviation (if American) or Country of publisher: Publisher’s name; Year. URL. Updated date (at least year, if available). Accessed date.
