Sharing references in new RefWorks has never been easier!
You can share folders with specific users and view folders of references that have been shared with you. Any subfolders within the shared folder will be shared too.
You can share projects as well! Projects allow you to maintain separate reference collections for different research projects. When you share a Project with others, they will have access exclusively to the references and folders within that given project.
There are three types of settings that you can set when sharing folders with others:
- Read -- view references and read attachments (if included)
- Annotate -- view references, read attachments, and annotate documents
- Modify -- view/read/annotate documents, edit existing annotations, add attachments, remove attachments, and add a note to a reference
The person who you are sharing the folder with will receive an email notification and a notification within RefWorks.
