National Academies of Practice (NAP)

NAP advises governmental bodies on our healthcare system. NAP Interprofessional Practice and Education Lexicon is a standardized set of terminology developed by NAP to ensure consistent and accurate communication across the organization, supporting interdisciplinary collaboration by defining key terms and clarifying distinctions between similar concepts, with ongoing refinement based on input from stakeholders and academies.

The National Center is charged to provide the leadership, evidence and resources needed to guide the nation on interprofessional education and collaborative practice. University of Kansas Center for Interprofessional Education

The University of Kansas Medical Center is dedicated to providing a learning environment that is rich and well-rounded to prepare students for practicing health-care delivery that is patient-centered and in a collaborative team environment. This center provides learning resources, such as student three levels of fundamental program, a pediatric interprofessional simulation and a family medicine interprofessional teaching clinic.


University of Texas at Austin Center for Health Interprofessional Practice and Education (HIPE)

The Center for Health Interprofessional Practice and Education work across programs, schools, and institutions to advance team-based learning and promote IPE core competencies through courses, simulations, trainings, workshops, events, research, and scholarship. 


University of Toronto Center for Interprofessional Education
