Equity in Athletics Data Analysis Cutting Tool

• From the Office of Postsecondary Education of the U.S. Department of Education. This analysis cutting tool was designed to provide rapid customized reports for public inquiries relating to equity in athletics data. The data are drawn from the OPE Equity in Athletics Disclosure Website database. It consists of athletics data that are submitted annually as required by the Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act (EADA), via a Web-based data collection, by all co-educational postsecondary institutions that receive Title IV funding (i.e., those that participate in federal student aid programs) and that have an intercollegiate athletics program.

International Sports Federations

• A comprehensive listing of all the International Sports Federations (IFs) provided by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). IFs are responsible for the integrity of their sport on the international level. 

Sports Reference 

• Comprehensive statistical website for professional baseball, football, basketball, hockey and soccer, as well as college football and basketball.

Spotrac

• Spotrac is an online resource for sports team & player contracts. It has financial information for the MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, and MLS. 

SPJ Toolbox - Sports Data

• Hosted by the Society of Professional Journalists, the SPJ Toolbox plays an important role in providing journalists, students, professors and people in many professions with reliable resources for reporting, editing, verifying and visualizing information for complex stories.
