Journal Locator
The library maintains a collection of journals in athletic training as well as in other disciplines. To check the availability of journal articles that are not full text in a database or do not have the "Check for Full Text" link, use the online listing, Journals . If you happen to be on the Library homepage, click on the link "Journals" and enter a journal title in the search box.
This will determine first, if the journal is part of the collection and second, in what format (electronic, paper, microfiche, or microfilm) the particular year of interest is held.
All entries that begin with "Bernhard..." or "Find paper copy..." mean that you will find the journal in the library building, whereas all the other entries are electronic links to the database that has the full text of the article.
Click here for the Journals search. Enter the title of the journal, not the article
Identifying Peer-Reviewed Journals
Is it peer-reviewed? If you are unsure if an article is from a peer-reviewed publication, the Journals search provides a link to a database that will answer that question. There is information on the publication page about the type of periodical each source, and its publication process.
Below are journals related to the field of educational leadership. Clicking on the link will bring you directly to the journal made available either in a specific library database or on the publishers website. From there, you will be able to browse entire issues, or to search within that specific journal.
