Written by features editor Liz Natale and titled “Gay Liberation at QC,” the article reported on the efforts of an undergraduate lesbian couple, Loraine Angueira and Judi Feldman, to establish the first student organization on campus, the short-lived Quinnipiac College Gay Alliance. In addition to covering the creation of the Gay Alliance, the article provides details about the couple’s relationship and also the campus climate for LGBTQ+ students attending Quinnipiac at that time.
