With a national voting age of 18, almost every college student can vote. But if you're away at school for most of the year and living far from home, how and where are you supposed to vote?

Every vote must be counted. If you voted using a mail-in or absentee ballot, you can make sure that your ballot was counted by selecting your state below. If you voted in-person with a provisional ballot, you must follow up and take the appropriate next steps to make your vote count. The level of ballot tracking depends on state availability and can range from updates regarding a ballot-by-mail application to notifications for completed ballot delivery.
