Value Line User Guide

This guide will show users how to navigate the Value Line database to screen stocks and get access to online educational tools and company information.

Finding Company Information

To find a particular company:

  • Type in the company name or ticker symbol in the search bar at the top of the screen.
  • A dropdown list of companies will appear below the search box. Select the company you're looking for.

Use the search bar at the top of the page to type in the name of a company. This example shows the company, Disney (DIS), in the search bar.

 

Navigating the Company Data Page

After selecting a company, this will open up the Browse Research tab to show a detailed company data screen. From here, you can customize the display by dragging and dropping panels to rearrange the content or completely hiding panes altogether.

Most boxes offer links to expand for more information (see links circled in screenshot below). 

The link to PDF Reports at the top of the page will take you to the "print" version of the Value Line report for that company for a specific date.

You can also find recent Value Line PDF Reports at the bottom of the company data page:

Value Line PDF Reports box is located at the bottom of the company information page.
