Nexis Uni User Guide

The Nexis Dossier+ feature provides a comprehensive profile of a specific company, including key business and financial data, current events, litigation, and intellectual property information.

There are two ways to access the Nexis Dossier:

• Click on the waffle menu icon in the upper left corner of the database and select Nexis Dossier from the dropdown menu, or
• Select Find a Company underneath the search bar on the database homepage.
  • Please note that the Nexis Dossier feature may NOT be compatible with all web browsers.

Accessing the Company Dossier will bring you to the Find a Company page.

Type the company name into the search bar towards the top of the page.

What kind of information can you find using the Nexis Dossier+?

A Find a Company search will give you access to pages with:

• COMPANY
  • Company Information, including Competitors List, Subsidiaries and Company Overview
  • News
  • Key Executives
  • Financial Summary
  • M&A Information
• FINANCIAL
  • Financial Statements: Income, Cash Flows, Balance Sheets
  • SEC Filings, including the latest 10-K Filings
  • Zacks Equity Analyst Reports
  • Earnings Call Transcripts
  • Sustainability ESG Ratings from CSRHub
• INDUSTRY
  • Company SWOT Analysis Reports
• LEGAL
  • Recent Cases from the US and UK
• NEWS

How can you find 10-K Filings for a specific company?

1. Access the Nexis Dossier+ and perform a search for your company. This will open up to a page with more information about the company.
2. Click on Financial in the top navigation.
3. In the Company Filings box, select "Annual Filings."
4. From the list of 10-K Filings, select the link next to the year you're interested in seeing.

How can you view the SWOT Analysis for a specific company or industry?

1. Access the Nexis Dossier+ and perform a search for your company. This will open up to a page with more information about the company.
2. Click on Industry in the top navigation.
3. Scroll down to the Reports box.
4. Select a report underneath the Companies SWOT heading.

How can you generate a customized report of company data?

1. Click on the Download Report button (in the upper right corner of page).
2. You can customize your report by selecting which report sections you want to include (i.e. Competitors, Annual Filings, Company SWOT Analysis, etc.)
3. Click Download at the bottom of the pop up box. This will export all of the company data into a file that you can download.
