Statista User Guide

Use Statista if you need graphs, charts and data tables as well as data analysis.

Statista provides access to all of the following types of content:

• Statistics
• Forecasts & Surveys
• Daily Data Infographics
• Topics Pages - Overview on specific topics, including statistics, key insights and reports. A great place to start your research! 
• Reports

To search everything Statista has to offer: 

1. Perform a keyword search using the main search bar on the database homepage to search across all products.
2. As you enter your keyword/s, suggested searches will appear below the search bar that you can choose from, if desired.
3. After you perform a search, you can filter your results down by using the Refine Your Search features on the right-hand side of the page. These filters include: Content Types, Location, Industry, Publication Date, etc.​​​​​​

To browse individual products in Statista:

• Use the menu at the top of the page to navigate to a specific product.
  • Hover your cursor over a menu item at the top of the page to see a dropdown list of more granular options to choose from.
  • Clicking a menu item (i.e. Statistics, Reports, Insights, etc.) without accessing the dropdown options will take you directly to that product page.

When you hover your cursor over most menu items in the navigation at the top of the page, a drop down menu will appear.

Once you've logged into the Statista database, you can find additional resources to help you navigate the database by doing the following:

1. Hover your cursor over the Services menu item at the top of the page.
2. This will open up to a dropdown menu. Click the First Steps & Help Center link.
3. This will open up to a Working with Statista page with links to how-to guides such as:

• Statista Account Setup
• Refining Your Search
• Content Types Overview
