Archaeology: Google Scholar

Using Google Scholar with Library Journals and RefWorks

In the left column below find screen shots from Google Scholar to show how to use the Settings menu to add the option for RefWorks to the results and then click on Library links to add a Quinnipiac journals link where appropriate.

Please Note:   It might be advisable to double check resources that do not directly link from Scholar.  An easy way to do this is to copy the article (or book title) and paste it into the Library OneSearch box on the library homepage

Another Way:  Copy and paste the journal name into the Journals search box (click on Journal Finder on the library homepage or see at bottom of this page).  Check for the database that contains the article year needed and then drill down by year, volume and issue.  A copy of the Journals search box is below the Google search box in the right column.

Linking to RefWorks

Click on Library Links on the left and type in Quinnipiac in the search box and check it off. This will provide linking to many of the articles to which the library subscribes.  Remember that a login with a QU username and password may be required.
